Sony Mobile has lifted the lid on the Xperia M (C1904, C1905) and its dual SIM variant, the Xperia M dual (C2004, C2005). These handsets adopt the OmniBalance design of earlier 2013 Xperia handsets and a notification light similar to the Xperia ZL and Xperia ZR.
Sony is touting the NFC sharing ability of the phone, a feature not included in the Xperia E. Under the hood you get a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB of flash storage (2GB available for apps and media) and a microSD memory card slot. The Xperia M has a 4-inch FWVGA display, 5MP camera with HDR for photos as well as a dedicated shutter button.
The Xperia M has dimensions of 124 x 62 x 9.3 mm and weighs 124g. Both handsets are due to go on sale during Q3 2013. The Xperia M and Xperia M dual will be available in Black, White and Purple – a Yellow colour variation will also be available for the single SIM model.
